Which color do you like?

i got the black but i just saw a silver one in person and i love it, so i voted silver. I'm thinking about skinning my laptop but haven't found the perfect picture yet. probably something bbooby related, lol

 

Silver here. Its underrated. Looks slick, and nice! Too many black laptops these days..

 

Can someone point me to some pics of the silver one?

Silver looks pro I think but I thought the cosmic black was a little more low key. I wish they would bring back the green (forget what AW called it)

 

I love my black. I have seen a red one in person and I'm happy i did not go with it. I just don't like how part of the laptop is black and part is red. Also some of the fx colors just don't look right with red.

 

My R1 was Black very nice, but with the R2 I will go for Silver. Red is so... red?!?

I'm 98% set on black 2% silver, but I think I'm going to get another lid, strip it, and get it sprayed a metallic gunmetal gray. Maybe airbrush a design on it.

I think they call it Tangerine Orange, it's only for the covet edition, and yeah, it's awesome!

EDIT: Now they just call it Orange, used to be called Tangerine Orange, guess they simplified things.

I found a place that will change the color of my lid! Now what color.....

 

Mandrake, Alien theme airbrush would be perfect!!!

 

No this is an anodizing place. Solid color only.

 

What are they doing to change the color? Might be something I'm interested in for the R2 and the bike.

Can also go the DIY route to strip and annodize it. I've found numerous kits online.

Interesting, something to look into. I just asked a local anodizing company to do it and they said sure. They asked me if it was all aluminum but I told them I didn't know.

 

I wanted white but their website says "clear, black, gold, green, blue, red".

Clear, black and red are out which leaves gold, green or blue. I like all three colors.

Maybe time for a new poll.

 

I'm wondering how well the aluminum would take to auto paint/clearcoat, after some prep work. Could get pretty elaborate. Though it takes away from the unique aluminum aspect of the computer, it could turn out really nice.

Edit: How about a nice fuschia?

I vote for a powderblue/baby blue if they can do it, or even the green. Would definately be an attention getter I would think.

lol how funny Dell chose the first idea (the red one), named it Nebula Red and add $99 price tag on it. They stole our forum's idea lol.

I love blue but it need to be kinda dark blue (something like blue theme on Dark Blue TV show poster )

 

I voted for RED. However Blue would be much better if it were somewhat dark or royal blue.

For the record I have owned the RED, Black and currently have a silver that my wife uses. Once i can get 5xxx series ATI or 3XX series Nvidia, Bluray and EPP i'll buy my next one. Maybe Blue will be an option in March.

yeah, i did it for some fun and i've had some positive feedback on it. I havent gotten around to changing it.
