Which fan is located under the tab key on an M17x-R2? Mine is making a rattling noise at low speed. Probably going to need a replacement from Dell and I would like to know exactly which one before I start the hassle of dealing with tech support.

They will probably tell me that I need to do an OS reinstall to see if that fixes it first.

It's the GPU fan (left one obviously). I doubt they will tell you to do an OS reinstall. Just ask them to send you a new fan.

    Yep, get it replaced.
BTW, do you see a difference in temps of the GPUs?

GPU 1 is running about 4-6 degrees hotter than GPU 2.
