    Which graphic driver is better for HD3870?

    Hello,everyone.

    Now my graphic driver´s version is AW 8.57. Is any another driver probably better?
    For example official/mod 9.4, does someone have tested it? :confused:

    It depends one version may work best in a game while the next version isn't too hot in that game but better in another

    But the newest version of E-wreck´s modded driver is 9.3, not 9.1??

    I have installed that modded 9.1.
    And the resolution scalings(1680*1250, 1440*900...) are optional now.

    But the driver version is still 8.57. Is it right and ordinary?

    I would say that is correct. Others using E-wrecked's 9.1 show similar results.

    Unless benchmarks are your thing, you should try out the 9.1, 9.3 and the 9.4 drivers on the actual games you're going to be playing. That way you can find out which drivers deliver the goods for you. :spinny:

    I like mobmod's 9.4, but that's my personal taste.

    What games do you play boss? Some games react differently per respective driver.

    I´d like to play X3:Terran Conflict, but the FPS in Game is low(20 to 50). Therefore I want to look for a better driver. If the Modded 9.4 works without scaling issue, I will also try it.
