I'm looking for the blue one (M7700a).

Also does anyone know if they make HD-DVD Burner for the M7700?

    Any help is appreciated.

you might be able to find a refurb one in the AW refurb section (i think they sell over ebay as well).

about the HD-DVD burner, you do know the format has more or less died, right? at any rate, i'm sure you can exchange the optical drive already in your laptop for a HD-DVD (or BluRay ;)) burner.

Thanks, Alienware didn't have any M7700's left and I'm a little nervous about buying from one of these so called "Electronic Stores" on eBay.

But you are saying that a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD would work in a M7700 drive?

HD-DVD is dead why do you want to burn to HD-DVD's? you likely can get a blu-ray burner

you dont need to buy an alienware.
    The M7700 is a Clevo D900
The intel version, the M7700 is the D900T, and only uses single core cpu's
the AMD version, the M7700A, is the D900K, which uses single and dual core cpu's

If you want, buy a black D900T or D900K, and send me a PM.
I have all of the pieces of the shell, needed to make the system blue.
I have all of the alienware parts to the shell, in pretty good condition, so if you want them, we can discuss over PM's or email

Yea K-Tron is right the Alienware is just the Clevo D900. Get the D900K if you can and you will save a lot of money vs. buying a Clevo with a alienhead slapped on the front.

I have an entire blue shell for the D900T/D900K.
with the ridged lid and blue led alienware lights. Its everything needed to make your non alienware d900k / d900t into an alienware M7700

xxhellraiser, I sent you a PM with pictures and info
