    Just wondering if anyone has the new quad core Q9000 2.0Ghz. Do you feel that it was worth it to get this processor? I ask because mine will be here next week and well I guess I just can't wait to see for myself...and the only thing I can find out about it is in some other machine!! Thanks!!

    Does anyone know why AW stopped using the Q9100? I only had the option for the Q9000. Are they close to the same thing? I see some people here have the Q9100 is this an older model?

    Q9000 = 2ghz / 6mb cache / 1066
    Q9100 = 2.26ghz / 12mb cache /1066
    QX9300 = 2.53ghz / 12mb cache /1066 / Overclockable via Multiplier

    The Q9000 is their budget Quad chip and was introduced *after* the Q9100/QX9300.

    For Quad Cores, QX9300 is still top dog, especially in a system that supports multiplier Overclocking (M17/OCZ Whitebook)

    Im stuck trying to find data on this comparison too, im not too worried about the clock speed of the q9000 as I am sure I can overclock it but more worried about the cache size. As far as the variable multi I have no idea if the W90 supports that...

    Let us know how it performs! Perhaps a few benchies would suffice as I'm also interested to see how this model performs.
