Question: How long after did the m15x come out after the m17x? Maybe we can guess when the new 15inch will come out for those of us who are griping about battery life?

I expect the next 15" to come out at the end of summer, right before school starts.

Some people may not game on battery but I see no reason why not to. If I'm going somewhere an hour's gaming might well be enough to satisfy me.

Whereas half an hour probably wouldn't.

Even just for work, having a 9 cell battery with all that graphics horsepower is a big disadvantage. Even switching to the 9400M will give you a couple of hours at best.

Count me in for this one. I will GLADLY pay for my illuminated keyboard, superior styling and thank god a 17' screen and not the Clevo's 18.4 in the M980U. Nothing dissapointed me here, but then again I called it a refresh along with Gophn from the start.

I'm sold on this one, only potential downer could be the price of GTX SLi, hopefully it won't be a ridiculously priced upgrade.

I think this might be a very solid system, being that it is a direct design from the old m17x. However, I would in no way expect it to be available this Tuesday. If Alienware history repeats itself, you might see a preorder page where everyone can get in line. I'm guessing it will take a month or longer to begin shipping the system, and don't expect to see it on your door step right away. Production is probably going to start all at the same time, producing a few backorders.

However, with that said, I might be willing to give Alienware another shot. This will be the very last time. If three systems don't work out, they never will.
