Why can't AW combine Command Centre AND Control Centre?

My current laptop is the Alienware 13R3 and I'm using the Alienware Advanced Gaming mouse AW558. I don't understand why Alienware has two different applications to control the lighting/FX on both - i.e. Alienware Command Centre is the default program you use for the inbuilt keyboard lighting whilst Alienware Control Centre is for the new line of peripherals such as the mouse lighting; and they have different feature sets and inability to sync. Whilst some may say we've put up with the AW sound application being separate before, this just feels like a wasted opportunity to bring some consistency to the apps, and make this a seamless experience like Logitech G Suite.
