    What was the reason for using DisplayPort instead of HDMI?

    Theres already alot of posts about this but there could be a few reasons they did it. For one they are trying to push display port because they dont have to pay royalities to anyone like they do with HDMI. If you want in depth info on why display port is "better" then HDMI then good HDMI vs Display Port
