what OS are you using ?
Try shut down using Ctrl+ALt+Delete and on the bottom right, click shut down.

I would recommend you to do a reformat and fresh install Windows. If that's still happening I think it would be the hardware problem and you might want to call dell.

Looks like the computer is going for sleep/hibernate instead of shutting down.
Check your power settings, you might want to change them to make it shut itself down normally.

when i had this problem it wasn't this bad, it would restart once in awhile, and the next shutdown would be fine. i never had it happen multiple times in a row.
check your power setting like aikimox said, if that didn't fix it, install the driver the new nvidia driver. that driver solve my restart issue along witha few issues i had with certain games, won't hurt to try it out.

could it be due to one of the hardware components that is set to wake the computer up ?
i had this problem once with my network card.. all i had to do is to remove the V from "allow this device to wake the computer" in device manager.

There is also a bios setting called either wake on lan. Ill double check the tech s done exchanging the mobos. There is also a slight possibility of it being the mobo which is faulty.
