I currently have 4GB on my M15x and I was told that Vista 32BIT supports like 2.5 or something?

Anyways, I was wondering if I got Windows 64 Bit or Windows 7 and put 2x 4GB RAM will that make games run better? Or is it just Windows 7 thats going to take all the memory and I wont notice a difference?

Any 32-bit operating system will be limited to under 4 GB of RAM. Any 64-bit operating system does not have this limit.

If your bottleneck is the amount of RAM you have, then yes, you will notice a difference. Otherwise, it won't make a difference (currently).

if you game uses more then 2 gigs of ram well then you might want to check for a leak.

But IMO you will not see a boost
