    Will a m17x r4 internal optical drive fit in a m15x

    Hey guys I am going to be changing my m15x for a m17x r4 soon and I will be giving the m15 to my sister but the optical drive in it doesnt work anymore and i was wondering if i could put the one from the m17x in the m15 since I dont really have a use for it.

    they are pretty standard size. I don't see no reason why it wouldn't work, unless the M15x is not a slot drive,

    yes it is a slot drive thank you very much for the answer :) and do you know where i can find out how to replace the optical drive in the m15x ? dont want to ruin it lol.
