    Win7 - 'Consider Replacing Your Battery'

    Hiya,

    I've suddenly started receiving the above warning message recently, despite me taking great care of my original battery, it's suddenly gone from 3 hrs to about twenty minutes!! :confused:
    Has anyone had a similar message and can anyone recommend if the nine cell battery for the M11x is worth investing in? I don't want to give any more custom to Dell so I would also be interested to know if I can buy a replacement battery elsewhere from a reputable dealer.

    My brother JUST got this message a few days ago.

    If you're still under your AW warranty, which covers batteries up to 1 year, make a service call ASAP in order to get a new battery.

    You don't want to let this drag on until you're out of warranty or else the batteries can go up to 150$. I'm not sure where to acquire one other than Dell/AW, however.

    any one gonna try this?

    if so we could do a group buy and get lower prices for volume buy on sites such as battery junction

    i adrealy need 12 for my pack and likely 6 more for an other project
