I know this might normal from Dell. Well when I got my system I lack the Windows 7cd. No Biggie Right call up and order a cd. Which I had no issue. I had a issue with one of the hard drives so I spent a few hours with resorce cd. Found my secondary hard drive had Bad sectors which why my game where getting blue screen and such.

So I reinstall windows 1 day until Automatic activation activate windows now.

All I need to do is get a new Activation Code. So I looking on Mirosoft website. I get this

This Product ID indicates that there will be a charge for this Microsoft support. (I DONT THINK SO)
The product ID indicates that this product may be supported by your computer manufacturer. Contact your computer manufacturer for support or select a different support option below.

Ok we all know what I have to do Call Alienware. Well They are shut down for maintenance. It been this way for 4 days. At this time 12:24am. So I call Dell Frist guy go we have to transerfer me. I get the same Message. It down for Maintenance. I should record the message and call dell back.

I call back Dell and just ask to get the windows 7cd reactivated. So I can have a system.

Dell would not help me for a simple problem?

AFAIK the activation number brings you to a computer, not to a person (do phone activation on the Activation box).

You can probably do it today if you wish. Right-click computer-> Properties-> activation.
