Ok, I did a search and read through a bunch of threads to no avail. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

I know people have had underclocking issues with the 8800M GTX, but none of the fixes that I saw help with Windows 7. I have tried using all kinds of different drivers but none of them seem to work.

According to GPU-Z, it sees my card fine and what the default clock speeds should be (500/799/1250), but according to the sensors I am at 275/301/550.

I've tried using RivaTuner to just "overclock" the card to the default values but it doesn't work.

Is anyone aware of any drivers that do work properly with Windows7 or another fix for this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. I don't really want to roll back my laptop to Vista 32.

Concerning the driver version you should try the official 186.81 notebook drivers form nvidia.

If the clocks stay low, you could try to turn powermizer off. You can find further information here.

Ok, I'm a and didn't realized I had the AW speed thingy button turned on that was cutting my clock speeds in half.

Although, I need to revisit an issue that I had prior to upgrading to Windows 7 that is now back, now that I realize that the issue never disappeared :(
