I own an alienware m15x. The notebook comes with facial rec. software. The official versions of 3 programs in total to complete installation of suite are dotnetfx 3.5, M15x-M17x-CommandCenter-1028(x32), and Webcam_FA_x32. Dotnet 3.5 didnt work so I downloaded beta 4.0. Webcam_FA_x32 relies on dotnet 3.5 and so it doesn't work. Command center-1028(x32) works but the facial rec software doesnt work.

The really weird thing is, I obtained versions of the command center suite before they came out. 3 files: (notice different titles)

    Command_Center_1028_SP1
    dotNetFx35setup
    WebcamInstaller

With dotnet beta, webcam installer, and 1028_SP1 the suite works but the problem is that it is so resourse intensive that it heats the CPU up too much and keeps the fan at full speed all the time. When Alienware finally released the final version this problem is fixed but I can use the final version. Is there anyone out there that can write the language in dotnet beta to allow the final version of the command center to work fully? I have no idea how to do it but if someone could walk me through it I am sure I would be capable of doing it.

If there is anyone interested in helping me out and needs copies of the files I would be happy to send them. Thanks for any help.

my experience, disable Alien Fusion service will help, there will be no more CPU overload or RAM being eaten out.
