Just got my M14x, Connected the Vizio kit to my TV and turned on the SiBeam Wireless HD on my laptop. Used the program and it only took 2 seconds to connect to my TV but the resolution is gawd awful and it doesn't fit in the screen.

I changed my settings to only show monitor 2 which is my 46" plasma and changed the resolution to 1920x1080p. Still looks like .

Second, I hit the format button on my TV remote and none of the formats/aspect ratio's worked to get it to fit my TV screen.

Can anyone help me on this? I dont know how many people have this Wireless HD.

Here is a picture of my TV when its connected. You can see how crappy it looks and that it doesn't fit my TV.

I just thought about optimus and went and set the SiBeam Wireless HD program to run with the Nvidia GPU and it still didn't work. Same extremely crappy picture + doesn't fit screen.

Ok I figured it out, Others can use this thread for reference if they have the same problem I did.

What I did to fix it was position the Wireless HD receiver in a better spot. I guess if there is anything somewhat blocking the receiver from the laptop it freaks out and gives you crappy image quality. My dressor was blocking 1/3 of the receiver. After I moved it into the open more it has perfect picture.

Second, I had to go into my TV's advanced HD options and select HD option 2.

Sidenote: There is 0 picture delay that I can see so games will infact work great. I was worried about that.

Goodluck and have fun with your SiBeamers

Lag issue would only become if you notice lag usually (many people don't) and if you use LCD, Plasma screens have very fast response compared to LCDs sadly, my old Bravia LCD alone make playing games like rock band very hard due the slow response time of the screen

Wow I have been using the WiDi and the novelty of streaming 1080p from by bedroom to living room hasn't worn off yet. I though for sure that a 60GHz signal should be better that line of sight. I was hoping it could at least go from one room to the next.

Also for anyone who has that screen issue, where the edges don't seem to fit on the screen, that's also caused by an option on your TV called picture overscan. This needs to be switched off, as it's on by default in most TV's from what i'ev read. Your graphics (well mine does, 6970m, dunno about your one) also has an option for "underscan" which helps to fix that issue as well. Hope this helps.

BTW for panasonic, last time i did it, it was under like...other settings or something, so don't be surprised if you don't see it under video/graphic settings on the tv.
