What features/Fixes would you like to see in AlienFX or CC ?

    Mine are -

Ability to turn anything Black in FX

Dim and Bright colours in the colour wheel in FX (ideally a slider for variable brightness)

Quick change like tab for my themes

Keyboard/TactX lighting off while not in use, then come on when Im typing (5, 10, 15 secs delay before turning off again, as seen on dells studio laptops).

Sure some of you have some ideas

Hmm your idea gave me a idea, making the button your pressing brighter.
or turning on the light on those buttons for when they are pressed

That would be nice, but Aliens dont have single key lighting only area lighting.

I would have to say, I want my Screen alien head to be able to change colors... Also the bottom of the laptop should have LED's like a car now that would be sweet.....

Overall, they do pretty much everything I care for them to do and I really love having AlienFX. I don't use any third-party extensions because I find it irritating for the lights to change or flash. If I could identify one thing I wish were different it would have to be more finite brightness control... maybe a slider like the LCD brightness control. I would like them to be a whole lot brighter than they are capable of during the day and be able to dim them very low without turning them off completely while using the system in a dark room.

One simple thing that would make AlienFX better would be if it changed colors smoothly. Not the hard-cut it does now.

You have to jump through some hoops to do it, but it is possible by creating some transition themes. How to do that is posted in another thread. I remember reading it a few days ago. For those that like the flashing and color changing, it should be simple to locate searching the forum with Google.

I've already got the morphing set into a 'breathing' style, but I meant that when you use basic mode, it smoothly fades into the new color. I do not like seeing lights suddenly flash or change color without a smooth transition.

Yup, I agreed, a morphing theme changing would be very cool.

I think hardware wise it should be supported, a smoother transition i mean.

Well was hoping for more feedback, seems most people are happy with FX/CCC as it stands other than better transitions

The only two things I would like to see from alienfx are.

1: Global light change - I have several alienware computers, it would be really cool if while they are all on and running (yes I do run them all at the same times) If I could go into alienfx and change the lights for all the computers at the same time. Kind of a sync system so all the computers match.

2: Universal lighting kits - This would be a stand alone box, it would have a USB input, power adapter, and then 4 outputs. These 4 outputs would connect to a some LED lights that you could place anywhere on your desk (under your desk, behind your lcd, under your chair, on the wall) They would be synced with the computer and would then allow alienfx to change the colors of your desk for games that support alienfx. BF3 would be really cool if not only your keyboard and mouse changed colors, but the whole desk did too. For future models of desktops there could be this module built into the tower. Then you just plug your 4 led modules into the tower.
LInk to my Ideastorm for the idea
    Idea Storm

I have actually been looking into how to do this on my own using my x51 and some Ikea led lights.
