I read somewhere on this forum that TRIM can be enabled on the Samsung drive by uninstalling the Intel Storage Matrix drive in from the "Uninstall a Program" part of Control Panel, and then letting windows update simply run to update and install the regular Windows driver for the Samsung SSD. Is this accurate?

That's why I made this topic. If that's the case, it makes enabling TRIM much simpler for new owners of the m11x.
I think his username was aznguy or something. This user posted a Youtube video showing the startup times between the Samsung SSD and a 5400RPM HDD on this site.
Would like some clarification with regard to TRIM on my m11x...
