Hi guys, I'm moving to Spain shortly and I have an american bought M17x and M15x. I think they do but I would like confirmation before burning my laptops :s

    The specs for the M15x:
    Input: 100-240V 2.5A(2,5A) 50-60Hz
    Output: 19.5V(19,5V) 7.7A(7,5A)
    Model: DA150PM100-00
    DPN: J408P
    REF. NO: ADP-150RB B

And the specs for the M17x:
    Input: 100-240V 50-60Hz 3.5A (3,5A)
    Output: 19.5V(19,5V) 12.3A(12,3D)
    P/N: J938H
    Model:GA240PE1-00

I guess they both work for both 110V (America) and 220V (Europe) and I should only need to change the cable, but can someone Please confirm? Any europeans with the same model part in the forum? Or alienware europe sells a different power adapter over there?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

The adapters support between 100V-240V with 50Hz-60Hz and 3,5A grab an european PSU cable and you'll be ok.
This is what i did ;)

Actually you don't even need a cable, an adapter for the plug will be enough... should cost you about 2 bucks.

Seeing as I live in Europe (moved from NA recently) I can guarantee you they work :)

Since the power requirement is 100v+, you should have no problem using it in America and Europe with just plug converters.

what i do when i travel to europe is bring a multi-outlet power strip, plug everything into that(them) and use the plug adapter on the power strip. that way, i minimize the # of converters and adapters needed.

I suppose if I was moving there, I'd buy a couple cables so I could use the lappy at an internet cafe or where ever...
