I have been spying on here for awhile and soaking up all the great information.

First: I want to say thank you to all of you for you great information.

Second: I just bought an Alienware M11x (my first Alienware but probably my 20th something laptop) and love it. ​

I have a vast knowledge of computers and macs. I will make sure to contribute as much as I can to the forum. I am also going to be posting a write up shortly on how to restore an alienware M11x if you used the restore disk and lost Dell Local Backup. How to extract the Factory.wim file from the recovery and update the wim with new drivers and remove McAfee and other programs you do not or want to add. I should have the up by this weekend. Just want to run a few more test to make sure everything is 100%.

Furture Write Ups to come, all related to Alienware M11x:

• Extract Factory.wim and make a custom wim file
• Restore Factory.wim using only dos and Imagex
• Add Bluetooth/wifi card
• Add WWAN card
• Upgrade HDD and clone old one

Also I just ordered the Invisibledefenders.com skin. I will be doing a few test on it also to see how it holds up to scratches, adhesiveness quality, and overall what people in encounter daily with their laptop.
