I am going to add second HDD for my M17. I noticed there are no screws in second HDD cage to secure the new HDD(Each drive is secured using four screws, two per side). Where can I get these screws?

Does a second hard drive install easily? I ask because, I just so happen to have an extra 80 gigger up on a shelf.

It is realy easy! I did it on saturday and it took ... hm ... 2 minutes? :p

Just "turn" the screw "2" out ... pull ... than take the four screws AW put in the "blastikthing" where your cabby were as well and "make the HDD" stay on the thing you pulled out ... than put it back in ... put screw "2" back ... and here you go!

    MOM (link will follow soon)

    Greetings
    Julian

I did not see any screws in the box. When I got my M17, I checked the box carefully. One more question.... I took the second HDD cage out and I cannot put it back easily as the first cage.I had to push the No.2 cage a little bit hard to make the screw and the hole fit together. Anyone experienced this too?

This is normal because you have to "plug" the "pins" in ... the sATA Port and so on, this makes it harder^ :)

I was thinking of adding a solid state drive for vista plus main programs. Does that have to go in slot 1?

SSD noob question ... what would you put on the SSD (to get the best performance) "WINDOWS" or the "GAMES" or have to be both on the SSD to have the max performanceboost?

I'm a near total novice with this stuff, however I guess whatever you want to access quickly. I was thinking of starting with the programs I'd use most often, so windows, antivirus and firewall, games and office.
