you'll get 5 different zones to light up: AW name, AW heads, lightpipe, touchpad, touch control buttons. i think there are 10 colors, can't name 'em right now tho :D

im sorry if im wrong but i think the alien fx is your whole lighting control system.

    "AlienFX
Alienware’s unique lighting system, AlienFX lets you choose from an array of color and transition effects across six distinct zones including the notebook’s Alien logo, keyboard, touchpad and more."

if i was you i would ring up alienware now and double check that you will have any lights at all except the alien head on the lid.

They all have the AlienFX installed. As whizzo said, there are five zones with lighting. Selecting the lighted keyboard adds a sixth zone.

The Command Center supports 12 or 10 colors only, but you can use my SetColor.exe to set it to any RGB color (Red+Green+Blue combination)

Download it from my guide, see in signature.
