Guys upgraded my ssd to the Samsung 950 pro`s , I thought I would just download windows 10 and install it and then the drivers.
It has turned into a mess. If I download the Recovery image from dell for my laptop will it include all the drivers I need and install them along with windows 10 ? Thanks

Yes, that will give you the factory image.

hey , I am still having problems, I downloaded the file from dell. there were 2 versions. it takes up about all off my 8GB usb drive.
When I install it ie power off F12 boot from usb it only installs standard windows, not the Alienware one with all the drivers.
I tring putting my Original 128 gb SSD back in and creating system image with respawn but that didn't work either , any tips? its windows 10 I am using. thanks

Just download all the drivers for your system and install them manually. Go to support.dell.com and out in your service tag and all your drivers will be right there.

    Hey Marc,

I recently brought the same SSD and was wondering where you able to figure this out? In the past it has been a lot easier to do a fresh install, but not so much anymore.

I haven't been able to test the 15 yet due to this problem, No haven't figured it out I don't want a fresh install of windows and no drivers I would like to pull the image from my original 128gb sad the alienate factory one and go from there.
Does alien respawn premium work on win 10?
How do I make a entire copy of my system with drivers etch intact to an external Hd then use it to restore everything to my new Samsung 950`s ssd`s?
There must be away? Any help is appreciated

it seems your trying to migrate your os to a new ssd and you want the recovery partition from your original drive to be transferred as well as the pre installed programs and drivers. am i right? if so this might help you.

also about your question on acronis true image. i believe it should copy everything like clone your original drive. but i haven't tried using acronis though.. hehe.. hope i was able to help..
