    alienware stop delaying ma m17!

    called again today to find out the vid cards are delayed again. so now its:

    delays:

    proccesor
    vid cards
    keyboard
    screen
    vid cards

    i as supposed to get the computer on the 17th now its estimated for the 28th. the guy said he would put a rush on it and get it asap.

    where are you based? because I have the same problem in the UK, Alienware Europe is terrible in regards to the organization and customer service

    I hope my comes for the 15th Dec. Considering that's a Estimated delivery a month or so after i ordered it it's not exactly quick as is.

    I don't think they are terrible, more so I don't think they imagined that the demand for this system would be that great. I assume there are at least a few hundred people who ordered this system on day 1- think about it, finally, a Crossfire X solution for under 2 grand (In the US anyway) with DDR3 and Quad Core support. Man, what a system you've got there!

    I assume they did not expect the amount of orders they got. Well, that's my only guess as to why it's taking so long.

    What's the ETA on the M17's? The alienware site says something like it'll ship with 14 days(M17). About how long would it really take to make it to your home?

    the ETA they quote is usually for a preconfigured unit (akin to a quick ship unit), but if you alter anything in the config, it updates the ship date.
    while i understand the frustration, look at what rushmeat said. he has a point, and besides, the (ehem) much over praised sager unit had such difficulties and delays as well.
