    Hi,
Just wondering if there Is any tuturials in how to upgrade the CPU for the m15x. Thinking about getting an m15x with an 9800GTs but with only a 2.1ghz for now and want to upgrade to an X9000 2.8 ghz at a later date on my own. is the process to upgrade the CPU like user friendly? I do not want to send it to Alienware to upgrade because thier prices is pretty steep and i see better deals on ebay, and i know by upgrading the CPU myself i am voiding the warrenty but i think if anything ever goes wrong with my m15x that I will just replace the CPU with the old one i had taken out, and they would never know and i would keep my warrenty. What are your thoughts?
    Thanks

Instead of 2.1 better get 2.5 (T9300) and you wound not regret of not getting X9000. Both are same processor and just the architecture is different. Also you will void the warranty if you do not purchase the processor from AW itself, which will again be very costly.

My recommendations go for T9300 which is same the processor as X9000.

Unfortunately, there is no tutorial available. If you wish to upgrade the processor, you may call our customer service dept to inquire on pricing and upgrade information. Be informed your system will need to be sent in. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a PM.

    Thank you.
