I've ordered parts from that website , it's awesome Fed Ex and well packaged although the tax thing on Ebay is kinda of a pain, but understandable. I'd say buy with no worries although having such a short lifed warranty is disturbing. If you don't mind me asking, I was wondering what PC you were thinking of getting?

Bought my m11x r1 last week, returned yesterday due to crazy random shutdown. $73x after bing cashback. 4gb ram su7300 160gb hard drive.
I would recommend buying from a high-rated seller in case you get a lemon like mine.
The price of m11x from Dell.com now sucks, and there is not much coupons available(like the Boeing one).

I am looking to buy another m11x r1 though, any one has suggestion where to buy?

There's nothing wrong with buying one off an ebay store if that's what you want to do, you get the same Dell warranty and there are no drawbacks. The ones I would avoid are the ones being sold by individual people. Then there's the whole skipping out on any EPP discounts you may be eligible for buying a new one anyway.

I'm buying my M11x on ebay, new in sealed box, full dell warranty. Just make sure that the seller is a legit business and has sold laptops to others and has positive feedback. I'm buying from a 100% positive power seller. Even Alienware sells on ebay, their old systems. If you go to Alienware.com and click on outlet, you'll go straight to their ebay store.

I've bought a lot of stuff on ebay, electronics, camera, etc and have never had a problem.

Bought mine from there as well. Got a brand new R2 i5 for $930 shipped with the neoprene case. Transferred the warranty to mine name easily as well. I wanted to order off there so I didn't have to pay tax which is pretty steep in SoCal.

Tax is one of the reasons I'm getting my 11X on ebay. I'm in NY, 1 hr north of the city. Tax is 8.1%.
