    6cell battery > 3h
    6cell SB battery > +3h

so basically, 1/2 hour per cell... so how is the 9cell battery supposed to get you (9-3=)6 hours? i'd say you'll get about 7.5h of battery life.

Turn down your brightness by one half and if you are watching a dvd you may as well turn off your Wi-fi because that could net you an extra 10 minutes possibly.

and switch off bluetooth. and if you're hardcore, AlienFX as well (Fn+F11 ;)). don't forget stealth mode. also, unplug all peripheral devices, cuz they suck power as well.
