I've had a couple dell/HP computers before ...so the whole sliding latch thing isn't new to me.. however mine is only moving about 1/4 of an inch and then won't continue the rest of the way to 'pop' the battery out. Am I missing something or is this the correct way to remove the battery? I just tried using a bit of force with a pen and nothing.. it won't budge(the latch past that 1 point). Kinda aggervated since I've had my M17x for a whole 5hours..

The M17x latch is very stiff.

Make sure your using enough pressure to slide it over...
