    bdrom (SATA) to usb adapter?

    I was just wondering if theres an adapter to convert a bdrom sata to a usb. I received a blue ray player for a desktop computer from my mom for my birthday. I was hoping i can some how convert it as i only own a lap top. and if i can where can i purchase it

    I'm not 100% sure a 3.5 sata enclosure will work that wouldn't be a bad idea to try plus their not expensive.

    Well he said that he got a desktop bd drive so I would assume that it should fit a 3.5 enclosure won't it?

    OK oops I was giving you a bad measurement on my part sorry about that you need a 5.25 external Sata enclosure. Sorry about that they are still pretty cheap

    Edit: I'm currently looking for that you can put the drive in. I'll let you know when I find one.
