Hold on, so what's the problem? Your touch keys don't work?

Is it just that they don't respond, or are there any other symptoms?

you hadnt just come out of sleep mode by any chance as that is what tech support wrote in my log file even though i have never used sleep.

that is an issue with older BIOSes. However, if you shutdown the computer and then turned it on again by pressing the button, it should have fixed itself (that is to say, doing an automatic restart will not fix the problem)

    I had the same issue.

To fix this, please disable bluetooth first. Then you can put the lappy to sleep and wake it back up with the touch buttons still working.

The Roswell Crew has given me an update on this issue, and they say that a permanent fix is in the works.

    ok, it's fixed now,
i shutdown my lappy over the night and this morning when i opened it the touch controls worked,

but i'm just wondering what caused that, as i disabled the sleep and hibernate functions, i only use shutdown

daniels the update will not be in your myhive because the x32 bios was intended for the 8800.

Ah yes my bad; the X32 Bios only fixes the 8800m GTX downclock issue so that's why you can't download it.

Oh and the touch controls aren't working at the moment. However, rather than having to turn mine off and then on again for them to work, if I put it in sleep mode, when I wake it up, they will work (also closing/ re-opening the lid). It's still annoying though.
