I'll try this (I didnt do the order) anyway I'm also having trouble with the snyaptic driver (not shutting off the touchpad) and aliensense quit working (says to reboot for update but it doesnt work after reboot) and the webcam driver for aliensense wont install (unless that is the one aliensense wants rebooted for) argh.

Even when you try to change the colors for the lights? I mean, you might just need to make a new lighting theme/profile.

If that doesn't work, I would try taking out the battery and the AC power, holding down the power button for around 20 seconds and then try turning it in again with the AC power plugged back in. I vaguely remember reading that solution somewhere and it helped resolve keyboard lighting issues.

If even that doesn't work, try downloading the Alienware Command Center m15x System Identification patch (which you can download directly by clicking here.) Uninstall the Command Center prior to installing the patch, install the patch and then re-install the Command Center.

    Good luck!

I got the same problem when I upgrade to the new command center
What I did is that I make a new theme with advanced mode
Then the keyboard should show up
