loose connector to the gpu perhaps?

only time i've had something similar was when i had a massive crt hooked up to my pc and the vga cable going into my 7950gt was loose, and gave everything a blue tint

I checked the lcd inverter board cable. that one is fine and i think there are no connections on te GPU becous pluged into the motherboard by a slot.

You say this only happens in External VGA Mode. What are you using on the other end of the VGA cable? It might be a resolution/Color Quality Issue (16-bit/32-Bit Color) between the External VGA Device and your laptop screen. Try lowering the resolution of the VGA Device and/or lowering the color quality of the VGA device (second screen), and see if that has any effect.

sorry, I ment with external my m 8800GTX, becaus the m15x has a vga module on the motherboard as well, not an external monitor or something.

    thanks anyway

Boo, sounds like a bad GPU or maybe a motherboard problem, specially with the reseating thing :(
