Video card is GTX 260M - Driver is 8.15.11.8647

I am suffering an issue that I've read another user having on these forums - I feel that this is likely a global issue with the m15x laptop.

When playing games your video performance is horrible.

To fix the issue you power off your laptop and pull the battery - then hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Upon restart video performance is normal.

Anyone know of a solution to this?

    (I am running windows 7).

Looks like the issue is to do with stealth mode - from the looks of things if you cycle through stealth mode it'll fix the issue.

Did you also download the latest bios fix? I know that was helping some stuttering issues as well.

    sure did.

Is there any way to have the system disable stealth mode completely when the system is powered?

there is also a setting in the nvidia control panel to change the power option to always be at full performance instead of adaptive. try that.
