    Which would be easier to do with Dell handling production.

    And it's going to need to be done eventually anyway....not necessarily for Monty since it's pretty late in the game but for Capella.

    It ain't, its a very solid Magnesium Alloy lower chassis with a Magnesium Alloy LCD top cover, the only plastics on the 1720 are the LCD bezel and the palmrest.

    i ment the palm rest sorry not being clear :D it does feel like a tank on the inside ...... but just the feeling i dont like .....sighhhh sorry :eek:
