This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can someone please explain the difference between:


    CMER,INTEL X7900 CPU,2800/800,4M,FCPGA6 with 4GB DDR2 PC2-5300 SO-DIMM 667MHZ CM997
    and

    Intel® CoreT 2 X7900 2.8GHz - Extreme Edition (4MB Cache 800MHz FSB) with 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SO-DIMM at 667MHz - 2 x 2048MB
