Yes, you have to pay 15% restocking fee and after 30 days you can't return it.

If you are not happy return it immediately because after 30 days there will be no way you can return it. Also sucks that you have the 15% restocking fee though.

I don't understand you. Didn't you previously rave about the m15x, and then cancel your order? After that, didn't you rave about the 9750, and now you want to return it?

@Travis - Yes you will have to pay the restocking fee, there is no way around that unless your laptop isn't working properly and you have sent it back numerous times. Personally I do not understand how you can rave about AW and then go back and say that they are not a good company.

However, I respect your decision and good luck with whatever the outcome is.

I think he didn't know what he wanted when he got the M9750 so he got it because of the Alienware brand name.

According to this little thread He is getting the lenovo thinkpad t61p and expecting to get 40FPS on a 8600 :p , but when asked what is the best gaming laptop - he answers the M15x. I wonder what made him change his mind? . Sad.... But i still think Alieware computers are a amazing and a powerful piece of machinery.

His parents bought it for him. He's mad at NBR for criticizing his obsessiveness over the annoyingly g** Bonzi Buddy. I'd guess he only wants the ThinkPad for its' looks, he'll probably return every notebook he gets though. Word of advice, look into the notebook you want a lot more this time before you get another one. Let's not turn this thread into a rant, though.

just wait until he sees that the t61p wont be able to play games as well as his m9750. if hes expecting 40 fps from cod 4 he should probably give up on the t61 tho. Since hes only 14 and since lenovos are really meant for business i doubt hes going to have a fun time with his t61p. im also betting he will return the lenovo.

Honestly, I don't see why he doesn't go with a Sager... looks better than a Lenovo, and since he was considering the m15x before, he can easily afford the Sager. Also he's got a 17" now, so couldn't be any problem....

He's not even answering the posts because he's a little kid and thinks everything should work exactly the way he *thinks* it should. I'd hate to imagine what his parents have to put up with.... I feel their pain.

It's pretty obvious from his posts that he wants a computer for gaming, and the issues he is having with his computer are driver related. If he can't figure out how to fix a driver issue he isn't going to be happy with any computer, AW or not.

I just think that its funny how his review of the m9750 when he first unboxed it was raving about the looks, port placement, and feel of the computer. Now, just because he can't figure out how to address a driver issue he is throwing a hissy fit and blaming AW.

You just can't help some people. Maybe he should ask his purple gorilla how to fix the computer. I mean, the purple gorilla makes it faster, right?

If Alienware is Ferrari then thinkpad would be a Rolls-Royce. and some people in this world do think that civic is better looking than them. pray for the people at Lenovo/IBM section
ps. I found my t43p so much sexier than the new t61p
