    hi, anyone know if you bought your m17 in december, can it handle 8gb of memory? thanks

    There is no Second Gen M17.

    Yes it will handle up to 8GB of DDR3 1066Mhz (or 1333MHZ) SODIMM Ram.

    AW Recommends you have at least the B13 BIOS for 8GB of ram, however.

    Bios version number is found when you enter BIOS on bootup.
