    hey all,
so i got my M15x about 4-5months or so ago, no problems at all, and well now i've encountered my 1st problem. So i turned the laptop on, the other day and i heard a sound coming from the left side of the computer, sounds like its more from the back side of it. Now im not too sure what to do. do you think there is anything that would be a quick fix, or should i just call alienware to fix it.

Now just as a little piece of info, i did replace the RAM in it, so i do send it back to alienware, should i take out the piece i replaced or what would be the best way to do it, or will they tell me

I've had my fans get stuck before when the machine was closed/put into standby etc and usually restarting fixes the problem

ya, im about to take the service panel off and try cleaning it, the people from alienware said "Remove the service cover and check on both heatsink fans, bomber929. Clean them, see if the sound persists." haven't had the chance to yet.

and i haven't noticed any performance loss, seems to be running at normal speed. granted the only game i've played lately has been WoW (im not addicted to it, dont make fun of me, lol). But i've been working too much to do really anything with it, hopefully this within the next day or 2 i'll be able to check
