Hey guys, I have the Alienware m15x laptop with 2 gigs of ram on it. I'm going to upgrade it to 4gigs for myself for Christmas =P. Only problem is.. I have no idea what kind I need to get. I know theres different kinds, like ddr ddr2 sdram and then each of those have like their own seperate numbers or something. How do I find out what kind I need? I know I need 2 sticks of 2gigs each, I just dont know the specifics. Anyone know??? Thanks!

ddr2 667 sodimm. try getting 4gb kits from brands like g-skill, kingston, crucial, ocz, corsair with tight timings. look for a good warranty/return policy. ram can go bad randomly, so run memtest86 when you get them.

get either of the G.Skill kits, you're overpaying on the OCZ stuff because it's 800mhz (your motherboard only supports up to 667mhz, ergo, the RAM will downclock).
