im averaging 20-30 fps on my m15x and i have the 8800 GTX video card, and i know that it is not on safe mode because when i hit the button for it it goes to 12 fps...my OS is the 32 bit windows 7 RTM....i dunno if win 7 has anything to do with it or if it the driver that i am using for the video card...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure you haven't put it into integrated graphics by accident? Also what resolution and graphics level are you running WoW on? If everything's maxed out then 20-30fps isn't that much of a problem

I've got no idea how you check, I don't own an m15x and never have.

Is V-Sync + triple buffering on? If so, that would lock down your frame rates lower than they'd be normally.

Also are your video card drivers up to date? Try looking on AW's webpage and/or Laptopvideo2go to get some updated drivers for your card.

Finally if that doesn't work... I'm not sure if I understand your wording exactly but I take it you've had your computer awhile and it's only now started acting up right? If that's the case maybe there's something wrong with the hardware.

so far this problem is happening in CoD4 and WoW. i will start playing the game and everything will b running very smoothe and then it will get super laggy like even more if i put it in safe mode. So when that happens i throw my computer into safe mode and wait a couple of seconds then it will not be laggy anymore and then i take it out of safe mode and then enjoy the game for about 5 mins and then it will do it again...any suggestions on what this could be...im running on 32 bit windows 7 RTM

I'm going to go ahead and refuse to answer in the SECOND thread by this user about this topic.
