there are no coupons that i know of right now, the last one expired a few days ago. if you are in the US and a student or work for government you can get an epp discount. http://www.dell.com/us/en/eep/lapto...spx?refid=alienware-m15x&s=eep&cs=6099&~ck=mn

its always best to call them to get the best price possible. also read this link for ordering advise, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=456885

as for the cpu upgrade, nothing is comfirmed right now, so no one really knows when and what cards will be used. also gaming wise it will last you at least 2 years, not sure about highest settings for all games, but all games should be playable. but i'm sure you would want a new laptop by then.

Personally, if you can swing it, I would go with the SSD. I cannot believe the difference an SSD makes (this laptop is the first I have tried one in). I almost always go with the highest performing processor/lots of RAM, so I know the performance boost I am seeing is from the SSD.

yes SSD is a amazing new tech, it won't give you more framerate though, thats for sure. but it will let you load things faster so you don't spend too much time waiting
