get m17x i hear lots of people talk about those other brand but they are just glorified toyotas.

buying something other then AW will make you wonder what it would be like to own an Alienware. Most likely you will end up buying AW even if you went ahead and bought those others.

I would never buy a sager or any other brand because they are a house hold brand name like AW except of course if it's a MAC.

Well, I don't see many kids with Sagers around in my school. There's 2. But I do see tens of Dells and HPs. Sager is a house-hold brand?

LOL - I'm wondering what it's like, but have you read the rest of the Alienware forums? I'm wondering if I'm going to like owning one based on a lot of issues I'm seeing and the AW support (charging to repair known issues w/ hinges for example) is a little concerning.

With that said I'm still considering the M17 but I'm not sure if I want to move away from Asus given the last go around with them was pretty solid (and support is amazing)

We at thepiratefleet.com have our own "unique" one. His name is Winky. I wonder if Winky and Tyronne got together and posted in the same thread if they would tear a hole in the fabric of space? :D

I'm pretty sure they don't charge for repairs (such as the hinge repair). [ 1]
