    Hello Mate

The right hand small end of the cable goes into the back of the tv card at the back of the laptop. Then the end of an external aerial goes into the left hand larger end of your cable. Job done

    Photo of antenna plug?

You will most likely need a (whatever-it-is) to coax adapter, to connect to the adapter in your photo.

I know the US uses coaax, i assume europe is the same?

I have solved it on my M9750 a long time ago...
( i thought we only have that problem in the Netherlands :p )

You can take a look at some stores like this one
    http://www.altex.com/F-Series-Adapter-F-Male-to-RCA-Female-7580-P140730.aspx

But basically you can do it yourself, buy some connectors.. and make a small cable. (that worked for me)

There's also a company that makes cables as you would like them.
it's in the Netherlands, but if you guys need something from them i can help you out.

they use RCA connectors on the ends of COAX lines in europe? strange. very strange.

the screw-y plug is a standard Coaxial connector here in N. America. the antenna plug you showed us was coming from a standard RCA style cable...

    RCA Connectors
F Connector (The standard endpoint for Coax (cable and antenna TV) lines in N. America)

obviously these two are not compatible. But it's not hard to switch between them... neither is it hard to create either cable, or attach the end of either type of cable, etc. etc.

HOWEVER, if your RCA Connector is attached to something other than a Cable TV signal, (eg. from the video-out of a device), you'll need a RF Modulator box to do the conversion between signal types. In my experience (here in canada) almost all RCA connectors are labelled Yellow, Red, and White (signifying Video, Right, and Left audio channels respectively); it's this type of setup that would require the use of a Modulator.

With your connector being black (not yellow, red, white, green, or blue) I suspect that it is A TV relay cable, a Coax cable. so a simple connector-type conversion adapter is the only necessary component.

You are maybe right.. because the name of the connectors i am not sure of..
( we call them just coax connectors, and the other one's are used for a satellite dish here "those F connectors" )

    but here's a link http://eshop2.euras.com/include/showpic.php?source=kk&id=233312&typ=jpg

About a month after i bought my M9750, i started to build a media center.
With my TV tuners i ordered, these connectors where included.
    so it's nothing really special...

First picture my cable.. second picture with the adapter more professional... :D
