I dont have any experience with a BT Mouse however the wireless (usb) I use works without issue. The only area I would be concerned with re: BT would be possible latency if gaming? I'm sure others will be able to comment on this.
-
mmmm that could be a problem as its gaming i was hoping it would be somehow better.

bluetooth in my experience is spotty. Logitech nano anywhere mouse is the best. Bluetooth has poor battery life IMO.
-
I use a wireless USB mouse and plug in a USB game pad for gaming.

However...consider the Razer Orochi if you are a serious gamer who wants the best of both worlds. It is the highest-performing Bluetooth mouse on the market (2000 DPI wireless, 4000 DPI wired) today, I believe, and it comes with an included USB cable, making the Orochi wired and Bluetooth. Simply plug the mouse in while gaming, enjoying the ultimate performance, and unplug it (Bluetooth) when simply browsing the Internet, for example. Bonus: It lights up blue!
It is quite expensive, though (US $80 MSRP, can be had for US $70), so I would only recommend it to hardcore mobile gamers. I want it, but I don't think it's worth it for my use. -
I have a usb Wireless Mouse logitech mx1000 and it useing blue tooth funtion on the computer. It work great.

Hi,
Bluetooth based mice are good for travel and normal use, but they do present latency issues during gaming. In fact, some wireless mice will also. If you're looking for a wireless solution, I would suggest researching a few from logitec that might compensate the latency.
Thanks,

The best BT mouse is the Orochi from Razer. It is small but a real gaming mouse and from the test done from CNET review it seems the latency is not noticeable.

Wireless mice tend to have better battery life than bluetooth mice. Depending on the mouse, you'll sometimes get lag. I never really had problems with my Dell 5 button travel mouse, considering I'm a claw grip, twitchy gamer.

Away with all the USB adapters to make my laptop accessories work.
I absolutely love the precision of my Bluetooth Razer Orochi. The ONLY issue Ive had is slow (initial) connection BUT once its connected its awsome, including getting used to the tri-function wheel, (spin, press and side slide). Haven't had any battery issues yet, like my wireless HP mouse, and promise to watch for it.
FRYS.com|Razer and I got a rebate, in store. Check Amazon too. -
thanks all ill probably still get a bluetooth as ive never had one before .... if it crap ill swap it back with my daughters
he he !!!

I have this mouse, and I cannot sense any latency no matter what I do. I've been extremely pleased with it, especially at the price tag.

Due to battery saving features, the mouse will take a second to kick in if you don't touch it for a while. I don't know what you're playing, but if you need off and on mouse use I wouldn't recommend it unless you can always spare a second before using it. Other than that, its great. The mouse wheel even has side to side scrolling. -
i really would like a kicky shooty game !!!!

I'd recommend having a look at the wireless mice that Roccat have to offer, they're supposedly quite good.
Bluetooth mice are a serious restriction, high latency and lower DPI as a whole. -
Just moving my notebooks, I have bent/destroyed too many USB adapters to wireless mice over the years to consider another wireless mouse with a "regular" adapter & have not felt like spending the money to test out any of the newer mice with the "nano" adapters. Because of that, we use a Logitech V270 (discontinued), a Dell (made by Logitech) bluetooth travel mouse (in red or flat black), or the Dell bluetooth mouse & keyboard (discontinued) on each of our computers. We play most genres of gaming with no issues (granted, we do not play FPS or sports games). As to battery power, we game 40+ hours a week on at least 2 of those mice & still only recharge the batteries about every two months.
The only way I would consider a different mouse type is if a reputable company starts offering full sized bluetooth mice again (the Dell travel mice mentioned above are too small to be comfortable for me) or Logitech brings back the mediaplay mouse. I loved using that mouse. It had a nice size, decent shape & the button layout was very convenient. -
I use the Razer Orochi with my M15x all the time. It's great, and I've never noticed latency. I just put it in wired mode for gaming. It's expensive, but well worth it IMO. There aren't many (if any at all) mice that are wireless bluetooth AND USB. The only way the Orochi could be better is if it had a rechargeable battery, but since it has an on/off switch, my battery is still going, and i'm using the same batteries it came with when I got it in late April.
