how to program the media-buttons?

hi everyone.

does anybody know how to program the quick-start-buttons (the 2 buttons on the left side of the multi-media-buttons)?

the one button with the internet-explorer sign and the one with the mail-sign are supposed to be programmable (this is what the alienware-manual says) but i can´t find it.

i got my m17 just one week ago (sent to munich, germany) and i´m pretty happy about it so far. the only problems are with the programmable buttons, plus the fingerprint-reader is not working with firefox. i feel kinda constricted to microsoft and i really dont want to be!!!

Vitakey (fingerprint software) doesnt work with Firefox last time i checked, made a post about it but sadly cant find it since the forum search function is disabled

what was the name of the firefox addon that opens the vitakey-console with an ie-applikation?

 

There are lots of them but sadly no one is compatible with our hardware.

Seems like most of them only support M$'s hardware and wont work with AuthenTec's one.
