i search on the web but i can't found nothing relative to m17x so any body know how to change the cas latency on m17x with samsung ddr-3 -pc3-10-600 and how much it can be lowered for better performance![]()

XMP is a gimmick that intel made and it is to be avoided. It does NOT work on notebooks. See my post at the other memory thread you posted in for more explanation.
The CAS latency cannot be changed except in the bios through a restart (which notebooks do not offer as an option) - so this cannot be done for laptops. If you want a lower CAS, get faster ram or downclock, like Mandrake said
The kit he has or the kit I have will be the ones to get (his for 1066 mine for 1333) -
