Yep there is a way. I did it to mine. I can't remember though what I went to to change it. I will check for ya when I get back home from work if no one else has answered you yet.

Yep. Simply set it in the power option properties. You can have your system run in full mode even on batteries. Haha, just do not keep em on batteries very long or your system will drain quickly.

where is it in power options ?

i checked that for like half an hour, couldnt find it.

also, its not cos im planning on using the 260m on battery, its just so i dont have to reactivate hybrid everytime i turn it on.

Ok sorry it took so long. What you want to do is click on the battery icon in your lower right hand corner. Click "More Power Options". Three Power plans will be displayed " Balanced, Power Saver and High Proformance. Then below each plan it says change plan settings. Go with the one under High Proformance. Then click "Change Advanced Power Settings" on the lower left. A list is displayed find "Graphic Processor" click it then "GPU power state". Two options are highlighted in blue one says on battery the other says plugged in. Change the on battery setting to be the same as plugged in status. Also I found that you can change it in your bios as well under the advanced tab then under graphics settings. Enjoy

    ok thanks,

another question, everytime i switch to the 9400, the brightness is really low compared to the 260m, and if I do like FN + F4, it shows me that its set to the max....

    what can I do ?

    thanks

All that you should have to do is to change the brightness when you 9400 is enabled then save it. It should then be the same brightness whenever you are on discrete graphics
