this is the first time I run occt since upgrade my qx9300 after 4 min.test on occt. the integrated video card or chipset or gt9400 gets to hot 78C.! this maybe cause because when I set the heatsink just apply as-5 to cpu not to chipset reusing the thermal pad what I supose to do replace the pad with new one? use artic silver on it ? use ceramic paste? or those temps are fine for a gpu please help I can't found any answer to this :(

Your temps are fine. The thermal pad is fine for the 9400M. All is good.

Why do you think something is wrong with OCCT?

that is because occt stresses hardware more than prime95. you only need to trun occt for 1 hr to have a passing grade, you need to trun prime95 24hrs to have a passing grade.

mine does, temps only get so high then they stabilize for the duration perhaps drop a bit since your fans are running full blast.

My m17x has shut off while gaming about 5 times the last 3 days, I believe the chipset is to blame since it's temps have recently started getting past 90C when last I noticed, they would stay at about 85C While gaming... any ideas? Only change lately is 7 upgrade.
