    You need to make sure KOTOR is patched, that you have current video card drivers, and then try running it in XP compatibility mode.

    Its fully patched, am running 186.82 drivers which am sure is much newer then the ones it recommends 3 years ago lol

    however switching the short cut to run on XP compatibility mode worked.
