is everything working fine? you wouldn't need driver updates for a proc upgrade...if everything is working fine you should be fine.

when it comes to flashing the BIOS - don't fix it if it isn't broken.

everything working fine, but one thing i don't understand is when i run
3dmark06 on the cpu test i get 0-1 fps even with my old processor, i get the same fps i wonder if thats normal?

What's model of the old processor and the new processor?

I believe, the CPU test always renders rather slowly regardless of the CPU.

I found the same thing going from the t7400 in my m9750 to the x9100 I have now...it is a little faster, but not much, still 0-1 fps for the first cpu test and 1-2 fps for the second cpu test....I think that test is designed to stress the cpu...

Isn't the cpu test using intergrated graphics instead of gpu?

Not exactly. The CPU test is made to be dependent on the CPU because it brings a real-time physics and tactics engine into play, with the graphics on a lower scale, but still being output through the same GPU.

there have been problems with the X9000. stick with the t9300, there won't be much difference to the x9000.

wmpnetwk.exe is the error and it is the part of windows player 11 that sets up your networking service to share the music

try uninstalling and reinstall windows media player

    lol

    integrated graphics = gpu.

just because it's integrated doesn't make it NOT a graphics processor.

the CPU test is to test the CPU. As a note: the CPU is not great at rendering 3D graphics... especially newer types of images, so it takes a while... at the same time, GPUs are optimized for 3D rendering.

The test was never meant to run smoothly, and I don't believe any current CPU can run the 3D Mark 06 CPU test to even 10FPS ( at least, not any realistic system)

Essentially, the CPU test is SOFTWARE rendering of a 3D environment.
